๐ข This monthโs spotlighter is Harry, a Peer Volunteer Leader with Rural Rainbows! ๐
Harry has supported his peers as a supportive role model since the start of this local LGBTIQA+ social group. Rural Rainbows has been running for 2.5 years now, and Harry is a familiar, friendly face that his community can rely on for fun facts, random trivia, football news, and a smile.
In the Rural Rainbows space, Harry is also a leader in mental health and wellbeing. He shares his journey via an app called โDaily Beansโ, where young people can reflect on their day, month, and overall year. His openness is an asset and reminds us of the strength in being vulnerable. With a peer leader like Harry, young people know they can start conversations on their wellbeing and support one another in a safe community space. Thank you Harry!
