📖Branch Visits: Meadow Heights 📖

On Friday, the regional board had went to visit our Meadow Heights branch for the weekly-occurring Friday lecture. The talk was given by our ICMG Youth Australia President Mehmet Sula where he delved into the significance of brotherhood in the community. The talk was concluded by a reversion of a brother into Islam. The lecture followed with snags and great conversations between the attendees. Overall a great experience once again.

Our Meadow Heights branch hosts this event on a weekly basis after Isha prayer so feel free to come.

📆Branch President Announcement📆

On Friday when we were conducting our weekly branch visits, we had another agenda to attend meadow heights. After an extended duration of presidency for Cihad Demir Başkan, it has been decided for a change to occur.

We would like to announce Muhammed Yılmaz as our new Meadow Heights Youth President. He is a man with tons of experience and foundational knowledge in the organisation and we deem him fit for the role.

🌹Mawlid An-Nabi🌹

Mawlid An-Nabi is the an annual event commemorating the birthday of our prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the traditional date of 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar.

As ICMG Youth we are advocating for all members to be fasting on Monday, the 16th of September. This is in order to show our commemoration to the prophet alongside it being sunnah to fast on Mondays.

Additionally we advise everyone to be attending our weekly Friday/Saturday lectures across all our branches as the topic would be revolving about the Seerah of our Prophet (SAW).

🫂Branch visits: Dandenong🫂

This Friday, the regional board had attended our infamous Friday night lectures at our Dandenong branch. It was delightful experience overall with the courteous gestures from our dandenong branch members throughout the event. We congregated around a bonfire for the amazing talk.

📝B*K Meeting with Dr. Mustafa Aygen and Mr Ramazan Ötkün 📝

On the 21st of August, we had the privilege of hosting our weekly B*K (regional board) meeting, which featured two esteemed and knowledgeable members of our organisation, Dr. Mustafa Aygen (IGMG Khateeb) and Mr. Ramazan Ötkün (ICMG Australia President). The meeting commenced with their insightful opening remarks, offering valuable wisdom that set the tone for the session. We then proceeded with our routine agenda items. Overall, it was an enlightening experience for all of our members.

🗓️Branch Visits: Brunswick🗓️

This Friday, the Regional Board had attended the renown Friday lectures hosted by our Brunswick branch. It was a pleasureful experience with our Regional Education President Ibrahim Soylu delivering the lecture delving in the ‘khushoo’ or tranquility that is required in our prayers. To conclude, our Brunswick branch served pizzas to the attendees.

📝 TIES B*K MEETING 📝

We have just concluded our TIES (Teşkilât İçi Eğitim Semineri - Internal Training Seminar) meeting for B*K members, where we reaffirmed our commitment to our shared mission and emphasized the importance of a comprehensive understanding of our individual roles. We also welcomed several new members to the committee, ensuring they felt supported and included.

📆 BRANCH PRESIDENTS MEETING 📆

We recently hosted our Branch Presidents Meeting to discuss and gather feedback on our upcoming youth events and increase the bond between our different suburbs and cities.

It was a pleasure to listen to our ICMG Australia President Ramazan Ötkün in the opening of the night alongside our ICMG Youth Australia President Mehmet Akif Sula.

The second part of the night included a professional development session by our ICMG Australia President Advisor Celal Varsan and former Youth President Talha Bozkurt.

The night then concluded with our board honouring our presenters and previous Youth Presidents of our Brunswick Branch, Yusuf Erbaşı and our Cragieburn branch, Sefa Varsan with gifts in appreciation of their invaluable contributions to our organisation.

Honoring Our Founder: Visit to Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan's Grave

[EN] During our trip to Türkiye, we had the honour of visiting the grave of our organization's founder, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan. We paid our respects and reflected on his immense contributions and legacy. May Allah grant him the highest levels of Jannah.

Hocalarımıza Ziyaretlerimiz

[EN] We are pleased to share our recent visits in Türkiye. It was an honour to meet and gain insights from Hafiz Ali Riza Abdülazizoğlu Hoca. Our visit to Çamlıca Mosque included a meet with some of the local imams. We had a heartwarming reunion with Ahmet Eroğlu Hoca, who served in Australia for many years. Meeting Ahmet Uzunoğlu Hoca at Valide-i Cedid Mosque was an enriching experience.

[TR] Pek çok değerli hocalarımız ile ziyaret gerçekleştirdik. Hafız Ali Rıza Abdülazizoğlu Hoca'yla tanışmak ve onun fikirlerinden yararlanmak gençliğimiz için güzel oldu. Çamlıca Camii ziyaretimizde bazı yerel imamlarımız ile görüşme imkanımız oldu. Uzun yıllar Avustralya'da görev yapan Ahmet Eroğlu Hoca ile yürekleri ısıtan bir buluşma yaşadık. Valide-i Cedid Camii'nde Ahmet Uzunoğlu Hoca ile tanışmak ve çeşitli makamlarda ezanı dinlemek güzel oldu.

Visit to Fatih Sultan Mehmet University and Dr. Mesut Çakır

[EN] We are excited to share that we recently visited Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. During our visit, we visited the stand of IGMG Türkiye Youth, who were handing out beautiful gifts to students.

We also had a productive session with the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, Dr. Mesut Çakır. We had a fruitful exchange of ideas and experiences that will undoubtedly strengthen our ongoing collaboration.

[TR] Geçtiğimiz haftalarda Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf Üniversitesi'ni gençliğimiz ile beraber ziyaret ettik. Ziyaretimiz sırasında güzel bir stant açıp öğrencilere hediyeler dağıtan IGMG Türkiye Gençlik Teşkilâtımızın standını ziyaret ettik.

Ayni zamanda Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf Üniversitesi İslami İlimler Fakültesi Dekan Yardımcısı Dr. Mesut Çakır ile de verimli bir oturum gerçekleştirdik. Kendilerine nazik misafirperverliklerinden ötürü teşekkür ediyoruz.

We thank our IGMG International President Mr. Kemal Ergün for his warm welcome and hospitality.

We were fortunate to join the IGMG International Board Meeting and meet with the department presidents. We were also grateful to reunite with the IGMG International President, Mr. Kemal Ergün, and the IGMG Youth International President, Mr. Furkan Kahraman.

Visiting all the IGMG International departments at the headquarters. We thank each and every one of the board members and leaders for their unwavering hospitality.

Our youth have attended an educational seminar at the IGMG International Headquarters.
The seminar was lead by our beloved IGMG leaders, Sh. Muhammed Turhan & Sh. Mustafa Mollaoğlu. The seminar was directed at the importance of being conscious leaders with a clear direction and intention.
