Check out this incredible neurodiversity affirming Festival happening in Casa mine throughout Jean and July. So many amazing activities celebrating neurodiversity!
There have been some questions around ticket prices for Sensory Sanctuary neurodiversity affirming arts festival Tickets for workshops start at $29 and go up to $70. Ticket prices are all in line with NDIS guidelines which means that you may be able to use funding from your or your child's plan to pay for them if you are plan or self-managed. These are disability-specific activities, even though we do not promote segregation from our wider community. Allies are welcome! For the most part each ticket covers 1 hour of 1:5 social group delivery and 12 minutes of non-face-to-face planning time per hour. Saturday and Sunday workshops will be more expensive per hour in line with NDIS guidelines. We also have therapist-run workshops which are quite affordable when split between the group, skill development and life transition workshops, parent/carer education, and professional development workshops. If you can afford to, please book your tickets through the website and seek reimbursement from your plan. If this is not possible, please email me with your NDIS number and the list of workshops you would like to attend and I will send an invoice. [email protected] Tickets are strictly limited in number, for most workshops only 10 tickets are available, and available by presale only. There will be no tickets at the door.

And they socialise really well,โ she says. โOn the flip side, neurodivergent folks are attracted to other neurodivergent folks, and when we're together, the social difficulties that are recorded in the various diagnostic and statistical manuals, they melt away.โ
Adults newly diagnosed as autistic quickly learn a key lesson about how they fit into society Learning you're autistic as an adult can be fraught with challenges, but these people are determined to embrace their autistic identity.
