Thank you all for your friendship, kindness and custom. We’ve shared so many moments with you this year and have been so honoured that you’ve shared your lives with us. We’ve always said that to us, ‘It’s not just a cup of coffee’. Black Velvet Coffee is about an experience that we hoped to give you all. It turns out that equally, you are giving us wonderful memories in return.
We wish you all the happiest of times through this holiday season and into 2024.

You may have noticed our little espresso bar has been closed from time to time this year. It’s fair to say this year has been a tough one.
Unfortunately I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March and have been undergoing treatments since then. It has certainly been a difficult time but we’ve encountered so much kindness for which we are so grateful.
Recently I’ve been gifted some beautiful earrings created by Kim
Kim is a sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation so every piece sold raises funds towards the goal of zero deaths due to breast cancer. The earrings are so gorgeous and beautifully made, definitely worth checking out the label!
PS I was very fortunate to have found my cancer early, so my prognosis is good. So, check your b***s ladies!

We are so sorry to announce that we need to shut Black Velvet Coffee espresso bar as of Tuesday 4th July for a week or two. Unfortunately we have another health situation to deal with.
We will be able to fulfill all online coffee bean orders, so order away or pick up a bag tomorrow in store.
Please keep an eye on social media as to when we’ll return. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
