From 30 January - 2 February, the Atomos team will be demonstrating its expanding range of NDI-connected monitor-recorders. It’s also the first public showing of Atomos Cloud Studio 2.0. With even more live production capabilities than before, ACS 2.0 will be showcased on the stand with a reconstruction of the Atomos Live webcast.

Atomos Cloud Studio is a web portal with camera to cloud, online editing, remote collaboration, live production and video streaming. Version 2.0 has lots of new premium features for live production, including up to 8 camera inputs, VT and Frame players, DVE, and multiple outputs to SRT, RTMP, Atomos monitor-recorders and a suite of Apple apps.

Jeromy Young, Co-founder of Atomos, has returned to the business as Managing Director and CEO. Young, who was previously CEO of Atomos for over 10 years, retired from executive duties in November 2021 to pursue other business and personal interests. Several of his subsequent business activities were aligned with the broader video technology industry, and he will bring that wider perspective to his existing knowledge of Atomos and its markets.

Filming and postproduction of the popular British television series The Great Pottery Throwdown was streamlined thanks to Atomos’ unique AirGlu technology and UltraSync timecode devices.

Creating the popular reality television series, The Great Pottery Throwdown, was no easy task for the team at Love Productions. Recording the presenters and contestants in action required those working behind the cameras to be vigilant and fast-paced to capture the extraordinary moments successfully. Thanks to Atomos’ unique AirGlu technology, the end-to-end process of filming and postproduction was simplified with help from the UltraSync One and UltraSync Blue timecode devices.

The setup provided accurate sync for over 22 cameras and 6 multitrack audio recorders.
