Dear fellow Thieves,

With a heavy heart, we're here to announce that today will be the last day of operations for us here in 1 / 420 Gore Street, Fitzroy VIC.

It has been a great and awesome journey for our little humble cafe to have been able to serve everyone here in this community for over 10+ years.

We want to thank everyone for their support throughout the years and thank everyone for the great momories made here, through our little door. We want to give a special shoutout to all our ever supportive regular customers for being able to see us grow and for giving us the warmth smile every time you step into the outlet. You are the reason we’ve been able to open our doors daily for the past 10 years.

There were indeed many ups and downs for us here in Breakfast Thieves Melbourne. In the past 10 years, we've been able to grow our 2nd outlet back in Malaysia and from there, opening of other concept stores. Like everyone else, we've also sail through Covid-19. But the cost of running a small cafe in Melbourne has gone up immersely.

Special thanks to the family crew here in Melbourne. Those who is still here and those who had been part of our humble family. We've been through hell together and just like that, its been a great 10 years. We definitely couldn't have survived this long without each and everyone of you.

We have done all that we can to keep the Breakfast Thieves Melbourne flag flying but its time to let the flag rest.

Memories made will never be lost.
We believe that when one door closes, there will be another door open. And with that, we look forward to making new memories with you in the near future. We do hope we will be able to continue growing the Breakfast Thieves brand not just here in Australia and Malaysia, but also other neighbouring countries.

We do not know what the future holds, but do keep following us as we will definitely be back one day. Not just bigger but also stronger. This is definitely not the end or goodbye.

The recent announcement has caught us by surprise and unfortunately, we will not be opening up for dine-in at the moment.

However, we will continue to welcome customers to drop by as we will continue to serve takeaways for the time being.

We really appreciate your patience as we make service changes to align with the recent government announcement.
