This is Bec. We are most fortunate to say that Bec is one of the OG LeCapCrew. Like, THE OG.
Not only can Bec make a mean coffee, and she knows coffee, but she also knows style, (it’s her business to do so), she could out dance any of us and you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who cares more than just about anything or anyone than Bec.
It was her birthday last week however she wasn’t here, but she’s here today so if you see her please say bonjour and bon anniversaire.
She’ll be the one in the snappy shoes.

Some new visitors enquired as to where our name comes from, (and how to pronounce it : Ka-pu-sa), so we thought we would again share some pics to help illustrate.
The instrument pictured here, beautifully hand modeled by Loïc’s father Alain, is a Capucin.
A utensil from the Middle Ages used for cooking over fire. It is placed in hot coals until red hot, whilst it heats up, the Bécasse is placed above the fire until almost cooked. It is then removed, halved and placed on a tray. Pork lard is put into the Capucin which ignites to finish cooking the meat. It is quite a treat to witness and gives the meat a certain taste.
We can’t take you fireside to Loïc’s family home in France, but we endeavor to share some of the flavour and family traditions with you here.

A topic deeply important to us here we were more than happy, over the moon info fact, to discuss what we as a business are doing and what we are planning next.
