Brunswick Salsa classes are BACK ON TONIGHT at a temporary studio.

Tonight (Wed 7th July) we are at:
The Moving Room,
55 Edward St,
Brunswick.

Plenty of street parking available.

7.45pm Cuban Salsa Beginner
(15 minutes will be added to the start to break down the basics slower for new beginners)
9.00pm - Interm Cuban Salsa
* No free starter class until we return to Moreland.

NOTICE : Class cancellation this evening !

Hi Everyone,

As we are all aware 5 new Covid cases have been reported this morning, bringing it to 14, with one of the exposure sites near Basco, plus RMIT has sent out a notice this morning that one of their external contractors have tested positive!

In the interest of everyone's safety, we have decided to cancel tonight's classes as this strain is highly infectious and even though we dance with masks on & plenty of sanitizing this will still be too risky for everyone at this stage.

– For new & absolute beginners
& anyone wishing to use for practise
** 7.30PM – ‘All Level’ Cuban Salsa Class
– All students attending this class MUST know
their basics or have done the 6.45pm starter class.

SOCIAL DANCING til Late!
– Playing the best mix of Salsa, Bachata,
Merengue & Cha cha

FOR YOUR SAFETY, A COVID SAFE PLAN
will be implemented on the night:
* The Free and Main class will have stoppages
for sanitising hands at regular intervals and
after dancing to music.
* Face masks should be worn and are highly
recommended when dancing with a partner,
with the 2 sq. metre spacing rule between
students applied to keep 1.5 metres separation.
– A limit of students per square meter
– Attendance registration before starting
– 1.5m separated tables available for groups
* Everyone is expected to fill in the attendance record.
* If you are not feeling well, have a high temperature,
coughing or sneezing, please stay home and do not
attend any dance classes or take part in social dancing.
* Please do not attend if you identify yourself as a contact
of someone who has been unwell and who is being tested
for Covid-19 infection.
* If becoming unwell during the event please speak to the
instructor or a bar staff member
* Maintain physical distancing requirements of 1.5m
* Do not attend if you are positive for coronavirus or if
you have travelled overseas or interstate in the last 14 days.
* Lastly, we ask everyone to practice good hygiene and to wash
and sanitize hands regularly.
* The safety of all our students and visitors is our main priority.
