Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre are accepting donations for Share the Dignity this month! Share the Dignity is a charity making an on-the-ground difference to those experiencing period poverty!

We are collecting period products to help those in need this month, as part of Share the Dignity's August !

We accept all products in original packaging, including pads, tampons, maternity pads, period un**es, menstrual cups and incontinence products.

📌Drop off at 572 Park Rd, Park Orchards any time during the month of August.

Snag a snag for the KIDS

The funds raised by the PO Lions Snag Buster will be donated to fighting kids cancer. So please save the date (Sat April 15th) in your calendar, attend the Park Orchards Community Market and buy a snag or three to fight kids cancer.

It is now only one month until the running of the Park Orchards Community Car Rally on Sunday February 26th. If you have not yet purchased the ticket for your vehicle (classic or otherwise) to enter this great event, we encourage you to do so. If you wish to hire one of the marquees, you should note that there are a limited number of marquees available so you will need to get in quickly.

Ella & Gaby aka 'Quince On Tour' have raised over $10,000 of their $15,000 goal and it's only the HALFWAY MARK of their challenge.

We say halfway mark, but that's an understatement. Over the past months travelling the west of Australia, Ella & Gaby have completed 1,266kms in their journey to run the equivalent of 60 marathons (yes, you read that right) in honour of Ella's Dad who sadly passed away at the age of 60.

As you can see, they're looking good doing it too 😎 Get ready for that spring weather to hit and tap to shop the Heart Warrior singlet 🛒

Car Rally Update: One of our sponsors, Blue Dog Café, will be opening at 7:30am on Sunday to cater for Car Rally participants and organisers. So all those needing a dose of caffeine before the Rally should stop at Blue Dog on their way to Domeney.

Street Party Reminder

The Park Orchards community and friends are reminded that a Street Party is scheduled for this coming Sunday (13th February). The Street Party is being held to celebrate the Opening of the Recovery Wall. Activities commence at 11:30am and will include a free BBQ from the Lions Snagbuster, a special Street Party menu from Binga & Mooch, live music, wines from Boat O’Craigo and more.

Please note that this event will comply with Covid Safe requirements. All people over 18 need to scan the QR code on entry to the Street Party area.

(A gold coin donation will be appreciated at the snagbuster to cover costs of the Snagbuster supplies, and because no-one carries cash these days, please grab a coin from your coin jar).
