A little something I wrote during the low times of the Pandemic whilst having time on my hands.

New look for Tyrepower Moorabbin now that it is under new management.

💥💥💥 OUR PRINTER BLEW UP...💥💥💥

So we decided to upgrade our 3 essential machines to the latest and greatest!

These are our new Toys that arrived last month. Special thanks to Aaron Macpherson from Graphic Art Mart for going above and beyond to deliver the machines as soon as humanly possible! Couldn't be happier with all 3 from Mimaki.

Our printer is the JV100-160 with additional bulking system inks that comes with two newly developed heads, the JV100-160 has pursued high quality, high productivity, and stable operation as a eco-solvent inkjet printer.

Our Vinyl Plotter is the CG-FXII Plus" is a new model standing as successor of "CG-FXII". A new function ID Cut, useful for labor-saving process and efficient printing, has been added as "Plus" feature.

Our Laminator is the LA 160W which is a warm laminator that achieves a maximum laminating speed 7,500mm/min and usable for UV print laminating.

These are the photos after the initial assembly. They are now perfectly nestled in their rightfully reserved positions within the factory!

Eureka Signs is a 3 man team working out of Braeside Melbourne. For a small team we punch well above our weight class. If you are interested in full time install work or know someone who fits the criteria you can contact me via email...

Selection criteria would be as follows:

Experience and role:
- Able to install all types of signage without supervision. Structural facade signage, light boxes, basic LED wiring, freestanders, illuminated letters, internal signage inc reception signs, statutory signs, wall and window graphics, panels etc...
- Minimum 5 years in the industry as a straight installer.
- Laminating, assembly and finishing in shop when not installing.

Certification:
- White card.
- EWP up to 11m (12m plus would earn higher wage).
- Working at heights.
- Any high risk licenses would be a bonus but not essential. Company will include training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Must be well presented.
- Must work well in a team.
- Must be able to manage work on site.
- Must be able to communicate with clients and site contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must be punctual and willing to work odd hours and weekends when required. (Overtime amd weekend work is a paid as part of your contract)
- Must have own vehicle and ‘current’ drivers license. Work vehicle provided from leaving the factory but work vehicle to take home is negotiable for right candidate.

Essentially we’re a gun crew looking for another gun to be part of our working team. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Chef Terry from Highett RSL is now operating and serving at Sandringham Charcoal Chicken.

Highett RSL unfortunately had to close due to the pandemic as it and many hospitality venues across Australia but that didn't stop Terry! He has shifted his skills and staff to Sandy to serve the community and also Highett RSL members who miss his food.

We hope to see your friendly faces and support small local businesses. We haven't changed the chicken you have grown to love but you will see additional menu items!

Terry is a respected Chef with over 35 years of culinary experience. Terry and his team have been at Highett RSL Bistro since 2013 and pride themselves in serving quality food and service to its customers.
