How Novus Events Was Born.
Back in July 2014, our founder shot his brother’s 18th Birthday. During the event a friend of his brother said: “Hey Man, shoot my 18th next week and I’ll chuck you $50”. On that day Novus Photography was born.
In January of the next year, our founder reached out to find a DJ to partner with. That DJ, Shalaka is still with Novus today. From that moment, Novus was no longer just an event photography business, but a DJ supplier too. Thus Novus was rebranded to Novus Entertainment.
This is when Novus began to get noticed. We focused on building awareness and before we knew it, enquiries were coming in faster than we could handle. After many hours of work, the new Novus Events brand was born. A clean design with a clear focus for the future was set out for the team.
Since then Novus has been working to become a leader in the event industry. From hosting exclusive events to working with government departments, Novus has worked in all areas of Melbourne. Our team is passionate, experienced and motivated. Novus is about being different, taking on challenges with unique and innovative approaches.
