At the core of the In One Voice Festival is the "With One Aim" Community Groups Expo.
In 2022, over 70 Jewish community groups participated, expressing the extraordinary diversity of Jewish community life.

The groups represented every facet and persuasion of Jewish community activity including youth, women, ecological groups, synagogues, sporting groups, welfare and other special interests and issues.

The In One Voice Community Expo enables community groups to promote their services and spread their mission.  It showcases the remarkable richness of Jewish community life, and offers those attending In One Voice the opportunity to get to know what the community offers.

We can’t wait to welcome back Mishn to the concert this year.

Mishn is back after blowing away the In One Night audience in 2021 with their heady mish/mix of Yiddish klezmer and Latin grooves.

A musical project by well-known Melbourne percussionist Toby Bender (Ghetto Cabaret Orchestra), combining modern South American-style salsa with traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms and the unmistakeable sound of heartbreaking klezmer tones, Mishn mixes two powerful cultures and musical styles into a unique and infectious experience.

In their return performance, bandleader Bender will front a 13-piece outfit showcasing a mixture of original songs and a selection of upbeat classics, sung in Yiddish, Spanish and English.

You won’t want to miss this one 🎷
The saxophone firm in his grasp, Max cuts a towering figure, swaying back and forth in a mystical trance. One moment he is serenading the audience with sweet, sonorous, meditative tones, another moment he threads a rich tapestry of ornamentations,  then he blows the house down with rapid fire, stream-of-consciousness sketches, shapes and guttural bellowing.

Max König is a unique sound, sight and spirit to behold.

This set, Max will be performing his most beloved jewish melodies, which he has encountered playing many weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, yom tovim, private parties and bar/club gigs.Accompanying him at In One Voice 2022 is drummer Andrew Doo, keyboardist Shai Martin, and special guest from Slovenia, fellow saxophonist and longtime friend Andrej Thompson.
