I’m honour of NAIDOC week our Kinder children were inspired by First Nations art pieces and created their own collaborative art piece.

We have been so lucky to have had another visit from “Animals on the Move” again! This time the children were able to explore their Bush Babies program. This offered a lot of interactive exploration as children were able to get up close and personal with a diverse range of marsupials, birds and reptiles.

Villa Bambini turns 7! We are so grateful for all of the wonderful families and educators that have come through Villa Bambini and made us what we are today. We would like to thank everyone past and present for all the wonderful memories and stories of their time with us. We cannot wait for many more wonderful years to come!

Tummy time is so crucial in the development of babies. Placing your child on their tummy when awake strengthens their muscles, develops head control and protects the shape of their heads. Some babies may not like tummy time, so you can get down with them and enjoy playing on the floor.

Summer sees us taking our little ones to the beach. Ocean sounds are calming and fascinating for children. Sitting and playing in the sand improves sensors and body awareness. The salt air increases alertness and improves thinking, and water play builds learning experiences.

At Villa Bambini, we love sensory play. Activities like water play and playing in the sandpit are so tactile for our children and create connections and learning experiences. This summer, continue this sensory fun by a visit to your local beach. Don't forget to slip, slop, slap!

Reading aloud to your child from an early age is so very important. Reading to children helps them develop early literacy skills. Children love turning the pages and looking at colourful pictures. Make reading time fun by exploring different books with your child.

Playing with blocks helps children to plan, problem-solve and collaborate. Play-based learning aids in cognitive and social, and emotional development. At Villa Bambini, our children learn through play-based activities daily while having a lot of fun!

A child’s laughter could be one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. We love the giggles we hear around our centres while our children play, learn and develop.

Children want the same things we want. To laugh, to be challenged, engaged and to have fun. Engaged children are happy children. At Villa Bambini, we keep our children happy and engaged with an enjoyable, creative and varied program to develop their individual needs.

At Villa Bambini, we encourage our children to be creative while in nature and explore the environment around them.
Playing in nature has many benefits for our little ones, including improved physical health, reduced stress and anxiety, increased happiness, and stimulation of the senses.

What a beautiful day today has been! Our Pre-Kinder children celebrated by going for a walk to Woodlands Park. Along the way the children collected leaves, sticks and lovely flowers to add to our spaces. We then decided to spend some time watching the ducks. We can not wait for more sunny days and adventures to support curious minds.

We are very lucky to have had some furry friends from Animals On The Move visit our service recently. The children enjoyed an interactive experience as they were able to pat, feed and talk about the animals environment and where they come from.

A fresh fruit cake made by one of our educators with the help of the children to celebrate a birthday! Promoting healthy eating is very important in the early years to set up a good foundation for childrens growth and wellbeing.

We would like to thank Victoria Police Ambulance Victoria and MFB (Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade) for providing us with a wonderful incursion! We are so grateful to have our Emergency Services take the time to allow the children to explore their vehicles as well as provide valuable information about the importance of staying safe.

Our children are still talking about this incursion to this day and loved the Fire Truck the most!
