Hello Dina! Our Senior HR Support Officer . Here at the Melbourne Disability Connection 2023. Dina heads up the team of support officers who are embedded through all our businesses to train, mentor, identify learning & capability up skilling opportunities & career development plans for all our employees.

What are you doing today & tomorrow? We are at the Melbourne Disability Connection Expo 2023 at the Convention Centre (opp Casino) Free Entry & so much information available for employment, support services & families.

Did you know we can provide Tea & Coffee Station boxes? You just provide the hot water & we provide our boxes with Coffee /Tea bags / Herbal Tea bags / Sugar / Sweeteners / Stirrers/ Bio Disposable Cups / Dairy & Non Dairy milks.

How long have you worked at Waverley?: 14 years! I was one of the original team picked to start the catering business.
What is the best part about working at Waverley?: We all feel like one family, we have good vibes in the kitchen & I met my partner Matt here, he works in our packaging business.
What’s you favourite thing to eat?: Pasta & Risotto but I generally try to eat healthy & look after myself.
What do you like to do when you are not at work?: Relaxing, working with my personal trainer & hanging out with my family.
What sport teams do you support?: None really I am too busy!
Who is that in the photo with you?: Rachael, she leads the bread section I usually work with her.

It’s Footy Finals time & we are hosting our traditional barbecue. With help from Waverley staff cooking the snags our employees everyone got a taste of the weekend to come. Coming together & celebrating events we get to catch up with each other & have a chat over lunch

Today we sent out across Melbourne our cupcakes & biscuits asking RU OK? Our clients ordered these to start conversations & to recognise the importance of checking in with such a simple phrase. It is a meaningful conversation whether long or short between work colleagues & family members.

How long have you worked at Waverley? 11 years, I did work experience at school here & wanted to work at Waverley.
What the best part about working at Waverley? I work in the sandwich section & working with my team there. Serving in our employees canteen & using the till, driving the Catering Vans in the morning getting them ready for the day.
What’s your favourite things to eat?: Hot Dogs, Nachos, Steamed Dim Sims, Chicken Tenders & Mum’s cooking
What do you like to do when not at work? I go shopping for Mum, go to the movies& bowling, play basketball & practice my golf swing
What sport team/s do you support? St Kilda (Fanatic) & Miami Heat
What are you doing in the other photos? Slicing meat as prep for sandwiches & packaging Choc Chip Biscuits for a client.

Today we baked 100’s of cupcakes for ‘Wear it Purple’ Day. Our clients asked if it was possible & yes, yes it was. R U OK? Day is just around the corner & we have a lunchbox ready to ordered - details in online menu.

Grateful for the beautiful day - we deliver catering all over Melbourne, today one lucky driver was in Frankston. Despite the wind chill sent this photo to the team to remind us of our amazing city but also that we are back doing what we do best after the last couple of years
