Hello.
I’m Emma. A bit about my background: I’ve completed the Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I’ve worked in professional, school and private practice settings with youth, adults individuals and couples. Prior to that, I worked in community development and leadership roles which led to my interest in mental health. I am now passionate about providing a whole person approach to therapy
My connection with Willow is heartfelt. In a nutshell, it’s a practice dedicated to my grandparents, their surnames combined make the word Willow. It makes sense to honour their memory as they contributed so much wisdom, encouragement and discipline to my life.
Why Willow? Sometimes life unravels in unexpected ways, sometimes we can feel disconnected from ourselves and others - life gets so busy sometimes we can forget about the most important people - ourselves. You can expect a holistic, safe, collaborative and professional therapeutic space for your experiences.
Who benefits from therapy? You might want to explore and attend to your emotions or process loss or trauma. Maybe you’d like to support your mental health, explore your meaning in the world - between yourself and others, manage a chronic illness or build on skills around communication or behaviour.
