COONAMBLE PROJECT UPDATE: We’ve had a few international shipment delays on this project but we finally have all our Passive House windows and doors from Europe installed! Not to mention the ducted air con units stuck at the wharfs end of 2020🤪

In the meantime we have kept busy by ordering most of the internal and external materials and products.

We have secured appliances , tiles & , spotted gum timber , plumbing hardware , fireplace , handles & , marble stone , stone installers , lighting & garage door

Now just confirming and finalising client approvals for joinery! &

We would like to thank our amazing client for being so patient with all the delays of products and understanding that we are managing this project remotely being 3.5hrs away and we want it to be perfect for him 💯

Next up is plasterers, tilers, electrian and painters to transform the inside 😊 !!

Mudgee TAFE need more students for their Cert II Construction course which is due to start next Thursday.  At the moment they don’t have enough enrolled students to run the course, they need another 3 people to ensure it goes ahead.

It feels surreal posting our progress photos in this current economic and pandemic climate, when we know so many others have had to close or unable to work. We are very grateful that our business has remained open and we are supporting local shops, produce and takeaway offers as much as we can. We are also mindful this could affect the trade industry in the next 6-12 months instead of right now. With all this in mind we are currently looking into some ideas how we can pay it forward to someone needing support & supporting our industry for the future.

Loving the new PRO functionalities of our quoting system It now enables & gives me the confidence to calculate quantities while Anthony is out on site. It even has a subtraction function so I can minus doors or windows 👏👏. Love your work guys.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the pandemic we have decided to work from home where possible to keep everyone safe.

We are also implementing and managing the number of trades and people on-site at any given time. Our team is abiding by our HIA Industry Guidelines. @ Mudgee, New South Wales

After some research and pH level assurance, I was thrilled to hear we could use Castile soap on our floors. Most natural products have vinegar in the ingredients which isn’t good for natural materials of marble, limestone and polished concrete.

Epsom salt baths are also great for our active girls & help calm them with all the craziness of life 😴

Meet Natural Build team member Hilary!

Hilary Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture from UTS and is a qualified secondary school teacher in the fields of graphic design and technology. Hilary left the bustle of teaching in Western Sydney to pursue her passion for design and client work and has settled into the relaxed lifestyle of Mudgee. Since moving here, she has gotten involved with the Mudgee Uniting Community Garden, taken up yoga at MIH Wellness Studio Mudgee, and has just adopted two fluffy rescue rabbits to complete her household!

We’re so pleased to have Hilary’s eye for detail and design development on the team, as she runs our new 3D rendering service. This morning Renée attended iCare’s Lunch & Learn conference. We discussed Return to Work, Working through Claims & most importantly creating a Healthy Workplace Culture.

It was great to hear the Construction industry makes up only 9% of claims however retail was a surprising 30% being the highest in our region.

With one of our subbies being rushed to ER yesterday by Anthony, it was a timely event and always good for an update.
