We are looking for qualified Boilermakers to join our team. We would also consider 3rd or 4th year apprentices in this trade. Consideration will be given to applicants with a good work ethic, who are easy to get along with, will get in and have a go and have excellent welding skills. A current Driver's License will also be required.

Looking back at a job we did in April - installation of ballustrades and hand rails at the Kandos Pre School, providing safety for the children, parents and staff. A job well done.

We recently completed a job for a client in Surry Hills, Sydney. The brief was to fabricate and construct privacy screens in his backyard to stop prying eyes from a newly constructed high rise apartment complex. The client provided us with the initial drawings and we did the rest. For all your privacy screens or home improvement needs, give Andrew a call on 0458-720028.

All the sets of stairs which were custom made from scratch in our workshop are now being installed in their forever location in Sydney. A massive job making them, transporting them and now installing them. There was no room for error and each piece, like a jigsaw puzzle, needed to fit precisely into an already existing structure, meaning the stairs had to be perfect, right down to the millimetre. We did it easy! Great effort team.

P & A answered a call from the Council to install this hand rail at the waterpark, located within the Mudgee Pool complex. Looks pretty good & ready to welcome the kids back when the warm weather returns.

Stairway to Heaven?? Not quite! But they are mighty impressive and very high when you are standing down beside them. These stairs are the first of eleven sets that we are fabricating for a Sydney client. Once completed they will be shipped off to Sydney to be installed at the Head Office of one of Australia's major banks. Our team has worked above and beyond, in between doing other jobs, to get these stairs to where they are today. Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

On Monday, Doug & Pitty went on a day trip to Adamstown, Newcastle to install these stainless steel handrails at the Nag's Head Hotel. How good do they look?

We headed back to school yesterday! P & A, together with some other local companies, sponsored a Mathematical Minds Challenge. The Challenge, organised & presented by the Rotary Club of Mudgee, aims to promote numeracy skills among the young people in our region’s schools.
As a local business we understand the importance of mathematics & engineering in our daily operations and within the broader society.
Leigh, enjoyed her afternoon meeting the children & presenting them with their medallions & certificates.

SITE SUPERVISOR Job in Blue Mountains & Central West Engineering company in Mudgee, NSW seeking Site Supervisor to oversee their employees at local open cut coal mines.

❄️❄️❄️ Had enough of the frosty mornings & chilly days? I know I have! Bring on Summer 🌞🌞 (I bet that’s what the kids of Mudgee are saying anyway 😜) This wonderful water park is completed & ready & waiting for them - thanks to the Mid Western Regional Council.
We were fortunate enough to play a small part in the installation of the park, by way of fabricating handrails for the top of the water slides. Will post a video of Stewart welding them up.

We’re in for another big frost in the morning (-5 or so)!! Let us know how cold it gets in your neck of the woods!

What's happening in the workshop today - we've got the boys fabricating two screen discharge chutes for a local coal mine. They have been working on them for a couple of days now and they are nearly ready to be sent off.

Today we remember and honour all of the brave men and women, both past and present, who have served our country in war, including our four legged friends - May we never forget them.

Happy Easter from our P & A family. May you all enjoy this special time with friends, family & loved ones.

Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour before bed tonight. I don't know about you, but I'll be pleased to see the sun rising that bit earlier of a morning!

Here’s a little project we undertook last week to help out our friends at Cudgegong Valley Public School, and in particular, the Garden Club. We have a special bond with this wonderful school - our girls attend there in Years 6 & 4, and we volunteer in the kitchen garden when we can, supervising and helping teach the kids about gardening, growing plants and vegies, sustainability and waste reduction. It really is a great little patch they’ve got growing & it is wonderful to see all the children enjoy it so much, especially those children that struggle within the compounds of a classroom but thrive when outside in the garden. This frame we made will be the starting point for a ‘milk bottle greenhouse’. You can see from the other photo what the finished product may look like. Recycling at its finest.

As we near the weekend we thought we’d treat ourselves to dinner @ The Ori. And we’ll just admire our handy work whilst we’re here. P & A fabricated and installed all the handrails on the upper & lower deck during the pub’s renovations a while back 👌🏻

As a business owner and community member of a town which, apart from tourism and farming, relies heavily on coal mines for survival, lets hope these fears do not come to reality!
