As specialists in supporting NDIS participants to engage in musical participation, Tweed Coast Community Music tailors a suite of support offerings ranging from musicianship training through to concert attendance for NDIS participants.
Musical Curriculum Options
- Musical performance (private)
- Musical performance (public)
- Musicianship Training - Learning to play instruments and sing. - Musicology – Music genres, music history, musical instruments - Music Theory – Time signatures & Rhythm. Melody, harmony & chords. Major and Minor scales. (Ionian & Aeolian modes) - Songwriting – Song structure. Song Dynamics. Arranging a song. Writing Lyrics.
- Music Production and Technology – Using Daws, Recording, producing and publishing.
- Concert/Festival/Event Attendance – outside of featured event outings, support to attend one-off, or regular events (open mic nights, karaoke, private jam nights) can be negotiated upon request.

MCC has teamed up with Lab Leaked Beats and Yodelay Music to bring you this workshop. Facilitated by Michael at Yodelay 🙌🏼
This free two day workshop at M-ARTS will cover:
-fundamental principles of mixing live music performances
-topics such as using plugins and effects, using different types of microphones, exploring stage fold-back and front of house sound.
-Interactive session to experiment with some technical gear, as well as stage planning and setup.
