In the last few weeks I have started two decks at the same property. Bearers and joists are in, due to the area being BAL29, all timbers used are hardwood. Finishing off with some really nice wide spotted gum decking boards.

This one has been in the works for a while, but recently I spent a few days up in Williamstown building some storage units for a stable. Designing these was a lot of fun! The double hung lids were to help with ease of access, whilst optimising the use of offcuts. This meant the shelf above could be kept lower, maximising storage space above. The client was very happy with the finished results, with further works being planned for the future.

Deck update: Front step rebuilt, new and existing boards have been sanded back. A cedar stain applied to new decking boards to achieve a closer colour match once oil is applied.
