Lambourne Partners 40th Anniversary – 40 years in 40 days

On 10 September 1984, Lambourne Partners as we know it today, with Stephen Lambourne coming on board, commenced operations from a small office located at The Junction. Here we are today, now located in a heritage restored office in Hamilton, with around 70 employees spread across Business Services and Tax, Financial Planning, Finance Broking, Audit, Bookkeeping, and Business Consulting.

We are very proud to reach this milestone, and even prouder of the thousands of clients we have helped over the years, with many of our original clients in 1984 still clients of Lambourne Partners today. We’re equally proud of the hundreds of employees that have helped us meet the needs of our clients over this period. We’d like to thank all our valued clients and employees for their contribution to Lambourne Partners, and our associates, supporters, and friends in the local business community. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you, so thank you.

We’re also proud of the community that we live in, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley is a great place to live, and we’re proud to continue to offer our support to all the organisations that do fantastic work in our community. Thank you.

Over the next 40 days, as we lead in to our 40th Anniversary on 10 September, we’re going to look back over the last 40 years and share some of the memories of Lambourne Partners, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, and other significant events that impacted all of us. Each week we highlight the achievements of these amazing organisations and this week we would like to put a shout out to Broadmeadow Magic FC.

Football is huge in Newcastle with participation numbers in juniors and seniors continuing to rise. One of, if not the biggest, is Broadmeadow magic. A family based club based on its Macedonian heritage, it is a mainstay of the Northern NSW NPL and one of the most prolific, ‘The Magic’ are again setting standards in the top league as well as having many highly successful Junior teams. Currently sitting in second at the half-way mark of the season there momentum is starting to build and hopefully will be able to continue their form to push for a grand final place. We wish everyone at the club continued success for the year and look forward to seeing how the year unfolds in another tightly fought competition.
