✨Life Membership Announcement ✨
At our recent AGM, two life memberships were announced.
🧡🖤 Craig Ward
🧡🖤 Neil Redford
They have both been with our club for over a decade and have fulfilled many roles beyond holding a role on the committee.
🔸 Craig Ward is our current Grounds and Equipment Officer and has been in this role in an official capacity for the last 5 years. Craig began assisting the club back in 2013 as an Age Manager and joined the committee soon after.
As Grounds and Equipment Officer, Craig has dedicated his spare time and weekends throughout the Athletics season mowing and line marking our track. He also assists with the weekly set up of equipment and you will also see Craig as one of our official starters at the start line of our middle track each week.
Additionally, Craig has represented our club as an official at zone, regional and state athletics carnivals and is our current representative for the Fearnley Dawes Athletic Track. Thank you for your ongoing years of service and dedication to our club, Craig.
🔸Neil Redford is our outgoing club registrar, a role he has fulfilled for 6 years. During this time he has taken the management of the role to a new level with the processes he has put in place and the legacy he has paved for the future of the role. Of particular note, Neil has continued in this role beyond when his own children had finished up at the club.
In addition to his role as registrar, Neil has spent many years on the finish line and his assistance week in and out ensuring efficient delivery of our competition nights has been greatly appreciated.
Prior to these years in an official role, Neil assisted each Monday in set up and as an Age Manager. Thank you for years of service and dedication to our club, Neil.

We are a week out from the AGM and are on the search for our new President!
Could it be you??
⚠️⚠️ PRESIDENT 2024/25 - EOI’S ⚠️⚠️
KSAC is calling for expressions of interest or nominations for the role of club president for the 2024/25 season.
We ask that nominations are made by the 15 May in preparation for the AGM on the 22 May.
It is critical for the club’s future and next season’s preparations that the role is filled at the AGM. This is not a formality, we do not currently have a president identified for next season.
The outgoing president will support the new president while transitioning to the role and will also be available during the season for advice.
The current committee (including those that have already proposed to step up next season) is filled with experience and capabilities.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

🧡🖤 U17s 2023/24 🖤🧡
Something amazing happened this year in the U17’s.
This group is well known for being a very social bunch and always having fun but along the way they have been making their mark in the record books as well.
This season they have broken 16 records across the boys and girls. The girls breaking a massive 11 out of 15. Some of these records dating back to the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
Well done to these athletes and well done to all the group for the many years of fun you’ve brought to the club as Junior athletes, we look forward to seeing you back in the U18/19s next season. The new ANSW/LANSW structure provides a great pathway to continue your athletics at club and representative levels.
