I am currently in my second year studying a Bachelor of Psychology and feel very passionate about research and working with people, in particular working with children. I have a drive to offer my help, love and time to all people and feel that my degree will help lead me into a career of service to others.
When I’m not working or studying I am playing soccer, swimming laps at the beach, playing guitar, reading or cuddling with my cats. My biggest dream is to study abroad and travel the world!"

Staff highlight! Bianca Crittenden, a member of TKC's client care team 🌟
Bianca loves coming to work each day knowing that she will have the chance to speak with people from all walks of life, supporting them in the best way she can. She thoroughly enjoys being part of the TKC community and working with great colleagues every day.
Bianca is passionate about the environment, our oceans and animals. When she's not at work or studying toward her degree in Early Childhood Education, you can find her collecting containers for change, reading fantasy novels or hanging out with her cat, Birdie.
The Kidd Clinic team will be out of reach today, as we spend the day together for our 2024 team day!
We asked our clinical psychologist Chantelle Meyers for her tips on how to make academic adjustments for ADHDers throughout their education.
Can we make school more of an accommodating place by empowering an ADHDer with choices that align with their preferences and needs?
(Some students may be diagnosed however choose not to disclose due to privacy reasons or fear of discrimination, and that is also a valid choice!)
You can book psychology sessions with Chantelle, either in-person at our Highett clinic in Melbourne, or via online sessions from around the country.

Staff highlight! Karmen Wong, TKC's finance Officer 🌟
Karmen has enjoyed varied accounting and finance roles in some of the biggest corporates and some of the smallest businesses. Regardless, she believes the best part of every job is the people, and has so far found this to be very true at TKC!
Having spent most of her childhood and adulthood living between Perth and Hong Kong, Karmen has always loved travelling and experiencing different cultures and food.
When she is not staring at Excel spreadsheets and entertaining her two young daughters, she tries to find time to go for a swim or read a book with a tea or coffee.
The Kidd Clinic is hosting an in-person group for clinically diagnosed, or self-identified, Autistic women over the age of 18.
“In our therapeutic work, we have noticed there are common areas in which autistic people are seeking support and guidance. We are passionate about providing a safe group space where people can learn from and support others with shared lived experience, and build connections and a sense of community.”
The sessions will include presentations by Dr Miriam Kirby, and Melanie Turner followed by facilitated discussion.

This week is NAIDOC week, this year the focus is 'Keep The Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud'.
This is a time where we can amplify the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We can also utilise the toolkits and resources that have been provided during NAIDOC week, and ongoing throughout the year.
What does NAIDOC stand for?
On 26 January 1938, while many Australians celebrated the 150th anniversary of the landing of the First Fleet, a group of over 1000 Aboriginal people gathered at Australia Hall in Sydney to call for full citizenship status’ and laws to improve the lives of First Nations people. As one of the first major civil rights gatherings in the world, this day became known as the Day of Mourning. Since then, National NAIDOC Week has grown to become both a commemoration of the first Day of Mourning as well as a celebration of the history, culture and excellence of First Nations people. National NAIDOC Week is observed annually from the first Sunday in July until the following Sunday.
