ACU Dance Sydney

2023 Update - DM us if you have any questions

Australian Catholic Uni Sydney Dance Club is seeking a qualified and experienced dance coach for the 2023 season beginning in February 2023.

The team was established in 2018 and has entered numerous AASCF competitions and we are hoping that the 2023 season brings even better results.
We are looking for a trained Dance Choreographer who has experience in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, and POM. You will not be required for all styles for the 2023 season.
Someone who has experience in coaching competition teams and AASCF competitions will be highly regarded. Training is Tuesday or Wednesday nights between 6-10 pm located in North Sydney and will be groups of up to 20 people.
Qualifications (required):
Diploma of Dance Certification
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid (HLTAID001, HLTAID002, HLTAID003)
Experience At least 2-3 years of previous Dance teaching/ coaching experience
Experience with AASCF competitions is preferred but not essential
Experience both coaching and performing a large range of styles

✨ AARON ✨

Aaron will be coaching our 2022 Open Jazz, Lyrical and Technique Classes ❤️💜

A bit more about Aaron,
Aaron has been teaching and choreographing for the last 13 years all over Sydney, specialising in Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary. He coaches for various clubs, high schools and studio Eisteddfod and Competitive teams, as well as owning Formula Performing Arts in Wentworthville. His formal training was completed at Urban Dance Centre in 2006-2008 under the directorship of Juliette Verne and Veronica Beattie. Aaron is currently signed with Dargie Entertainment and is working as a commercial dancer and choreographer. His Tv and film credits include: So You Think You Can Dance (Ten network/promo/dancer) The Wall Promo (Nine Network), Unindian (Feature film. Dancer), and more! Aaron is back for his 3rd year at ACU Dance and is so excited to see what the 2022 team can achieve!
