Jack started out of position 2 in the first heat and the car was performing well with the replacement motor.

Unfortunately after battling hard with the top 2 cars Jack ran slightly high in turn 3 and got sucked into the wall and went for a nice little adventure up the wall and upside down.

Car is a little bit second hand 😞

Jack is okay which is all that matters to us

Jack Stokes has entered the NSW 99 Aggressor / GSXR and is looking to blast out of the gate with a new motor installed, having had one expire last time out.

The former NSW Rookie of The Year and B Grade Champion will no doubt be looking for family bragging rights. Jack is definitely one of the young guns to get behind.

After 2 weeks of non stop work we’ve managed to replace our engine and we will continue our season next week with our return home to Nowra Speedway!

Out with the old… This engine is headed to the graveyard 😩

Unfortunately upon further inspection after getting home from Goulburn last night, we’ve discovered that we’ve blown an engine 😞😭

This is likely the end of our season as we don’t have the budget or time to fix our current engine, or source a new one.

We’re already hard at work already stripping the car down and we will do everything we can to be back before seasons end for all our sponsors and fans, but no promises 😩

Saturday January 7 - EVENT POSTPONED; Decision pending for Sunday January 8 rain-date.

Unfortunately with the rain yesterday and overnight, light showers about this-morning and no sign of sunshine to dry things up, a track inspection has determined it is too wet in Turns 3 and 4 for tonight's event.

We will evaluate the track at 5pm this-afternoon to determine whether it may dry out enough to run the event tomorrow (Sunday January 8) - it's going to depend on the weather and if we get more rain today.

We wish we had better news, unfortunately it seems Mother Nature isn't on our side this week.

Tickets purchased for tonight will be automatically changed for tomorrow night. If you can't attend tomorrow and would like a refund, please email the Speedway office.

As the track started to slick off we really struggled to get used to the diff and power steering combo as it was Jacks first time with both.
