Club Crew World Championships Day 3 - no action today unfortunately. Senior C Women’s Small Boat were supposed to compete in the afternoon session over 200m but due to wind the schedule fell behind and a mid afternoon thunderstorm meant the afternoon racing was canceled. This crew will have a replacement race first up tomorrow morning to determine the medals. Glad we invested in a tent with sides 💨⛈️

Club Crew World Championships Day 2 - Senior C Mixed Small Boat. First race of the day in perfect conditions. After an eventful race we finished 6th. Despite a 2 second time penalty we were still the first Aussie boat. It was a very solid effort from the whole team.💪

Club Crew World Championships Day 1 - Senior C Women’s 2000m - 5th in the world, 1st Aussie team, 1st non-North American team. AMAZING!!! Well done to all of the women’s team - paddlers, sweeps, drummers, reserves. Not bad for a little regional club. Punching above our weight - as usual 👊

A big training morning today with a 6km hit out for local members followed by a 10.5km heavy session for our last combined Club Worlds training session. ‘‘Twas a bit windy, lucky we have our creek to get our work done in.

We had a massive day today at the Dragon Boats NSW Winter Warmer regatta. Some great results with gold 🥇for the Senior B Mixed team, silver🥈for the Senior B women and major finals for the Senior B Opens, Senior A Mixed and Senior A women. Final tune up for Club Crew World Championships in a few weeks.

That’s Barmy and not Balmy. Miraculously found a period of reduced wind to get across the river to the lee of the golf course to get a session in. Wind climbed to 30knts gusting to 45knts as we were finishing.

AusDBF is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from athletes looking for selection into the 2025 National Team (Auroras). The selection process will be managed by The Auroras Management Team.
EOI will open for 18 days (00:00 15/07/2024 - 02:00 02/08/2024).

Dragon Boat NSW is thrilled to announce that due to availability changes, our Winter Warmer event has a new venue and date. This year's event will now be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre on 11th August.

Get your crew together for some great competition. This is the perfect regatta to start the season off. This event features a 200m course with 10's crews in 20's boats. Time permitting, we will end the day with a 500m mixed 20's race.
