At Renew we’re passionate about empowering and supporting pregnant women throughout all stages of their journey.🤰

Including those who choose to do Pilates on their DUE DATE like Lindsay pictured just the other week! 💪🏻💥 🥰

That’s why we’re excited to share our Pregnancy Guidelines. There’s lots of words, they’re good words, evidence based words - we didn’t make these words up, we’ve put our version of the words together to share the knowledge.

Put simply:
Women with uncomplicated pregnancies and without contraindications can be physically active anyway they are familiar with, enjoy and feel comfortable doing so.

Staying routinely active during pregnancy can help relieve common symptomatic areas, greatly assist to prepare the body for labour, motherhood and also enhance postpartum recovery. 👏🏻

Our small studio ensures we can modify exercises when required therefore all classes are open to pregnant clients. As pregnancy progresses, our Prenatal class on Wednesdays at 6.30pm is going to be your best friend leading up to birth.

A big warm welcome to our newest wonderful instructor, Alyssa 💫
Alyssa recently completed her reformer Pilates training through the Elixr School of Pilates and is so excited to now be teaching! 🫶🏻
As a qualified naturopath Alyssa loves connecting with people and supporting them to form and achieve their health and wellbeing goals. Being a big advocate for self-care, Alyssa is always encouraging people to treat themselves! This could look like going out for a matcha 🍵 and a treat, taking a relaxing bath 🛀, attending a pilates class (!), or buying that reeeally cute and practical new jumper!

When Alyssa isn’t teaching she’s spending time with friends and family, cooking tasty food, taking her adorable kelpie, Fletcher, to the oval, drinking endless cups of herbal tea, and trying to get down to the beach as often as possible!
