A cute boys cake i made the other week... chocolate overloaded & trucks... fair to say Noah loved it!

Another cake made a couple of weeks back for my bosses daughters 21st! 😱 The pressure!! Lol!
I was given a handful of pics of cakes that she liked, and then left to my own devices!! The mini personlised bottles of Grape Vodka came from Newy Distillery. The flowers were from Pakenham Florist, macarons from Vanille Bistro Pakenham and the topper was supplied from Miss soon-to-be 21.

I was excited to see a few pics of the gold on black theme, with pops of colour! So this is what I came up with! 😁😁

Some cupcakes made for a friends brothers 50th! I even whippes up the cupcake stand! Lol! These were a mixture of vanilla and caramel flavour.... with the edible images from My Dream Cake. 😁

I had the privilege of making Hayley & Dylans wedding cake and cupcakes a couple of weeks ago.. They wanted something rustic & simple to match their beautifully laid back and relaxed wedding. Not only did the bride & groom look on point... I heard the cake and cupcakes weren't bad either..😉😁

I had fun making this cool Blaze & the Monster Machines cake last week for a friends 4 yr old daughter! Loved how it came together & as far as I know she loved it! 😁

Its been a while, so thought Id post a pic of my sons birthday cake I made for his 8th Birthday. Only a small one.. but he loved it! Rainbow on the inside, with matching rainbow cake pops! Yumm!

I feel like i havent baked in FOREVER!! So took the opportunity to make some cupcakes for my highschool reunion... fair to say everyone enjoyed! My amazing friend made the cookies - which are also delicious btw!! Yummy!!

Happy New Year everyone!! This is a long one - but important...so brace yourself!!

Firstly I just want to thank all of my customers, followers, friends and family for all of your support over the last TEN YEARS!! Without you I wouldnt have been able to create this small business. I am truely humbled that I have been lucky enough to be able to do what I love and look back on my creations and be genuinely proud.

Having said all that, Ive struggled on how to best explain why it is I am choosing to close my business. And the truth is, there's no easy way & Im not one to sugar coat - my words! 😉

The last 2 years of in & out of lockdowns has really changed my perspective on certain things and has - Im finally able to admit to myself - really affected my mental health.

I have decided to close Jade's Sweet Creations so that I can focus on being a 'present' mum again, so I can get my house back and enjoy taking pride in it, so I can have weekends back without constantly worrying about what I should be getting organised for the following day or week, so I can have a proper nights sleep, so I can quitt with the "just wait a minute, im busy, maybe later' comments, so I can rest, so I can have some me time.... the list goes on really.

Will I stop baking? No!! I will still enjoy being creative, baking cakes for family & friends & I will keep this page active - but as a hobby.. not a business. Plus Im far to proud to shut it down completely.

I hope you can all understand and appreciate my honesty. I have truely loved baking for you and meeting new people along the way. But it has come to the time to re-evaluate. Who knows I may be back in years to come.... when the kiddos are grown up and there's no more after school activities 5 days a week... or maybe I wont... I'm not sure, but I think I'll let whatever happens happen the way it should.

For now... its time to say THANKYOU, but goodbye. This is the end of this chapter of Jade's Sweet Creations. I feel proud, sad, relieved, anxious and excited all at once!

As of today... 1st Jan 2022 Jade's Sweet Creations has closed it doors.

Thankyou all again, I hope 2022 is a much better year for everyone! Enjoy it and spend it with those that mean the most to you!!

Now...here is the last cake I baked for the year - for my 3 year old neice. I'd be wanting to make a minion cake for a while - so was super excited about this one! Enjoy!

A little Chocolate overload cake made for 70th birthday. Chocolate mud, layered with choc buttercream, topped with a chocolate sauce drip & a mixure of goodies! 70 topper from My Dream Cake.

A yummy, elegant marble mud birthday cake made for a birthday celebration of many!! Beautiful blue buttercream, gold painted edges, topped with fresh flowers, mixed berries & macarons!

Loving the 3D cakes atm! Check out this caravan cake I made for a good friends dad's 70th! It even included a mini version of himself! Happy 70th birthday again Reiner! 😁😊

Christmas is somehow just around the corner again! 😳 I have no idea where this year has gone - but hoping next year is a much better one for everyone!!
