When you find yourself making excuses for not spending time with your manuscript, schedule your writing sessions — try for 2-3 each week — and stick to them like you would any appointment. It won't be long before you've established a habit!

Fear of failure is what holds a lot of writers back from achieving their writing dreams. But what is failure? Is it getting bad reviews or yet another rejection? Absolutely not! Because success also lies in those experiences — for every bad review, you'll get twenty good ones; and rejection means you're putting yourself and your writing out there. These are simply learning experiences, and they help us become better and more resilient writers. Don't be afraid to learn!

Today is Holistic Therapy Day, so I'm taking time out for a little self-care. 🥰

I can't help feeling spiritually nourished whenever I take a walk at the beach. 🏖 The sun, the fresh air, the salty smell of the ocean, the sound of laughter and friends chatting. It's so peaceful.

What's your favourite way to practice self-care?
