It’s our final home game of the regular season, and last game for our Reserve and Third Grace teams. With a Round 16 bye, this will be our last Men’s Round before finals. Get down and support your teams 🤓
Not a perfect performance, but an important win away from home against tough opponents. We controlled long stretches of the game, had the better of the territory and possession, and dominated the set piece battle. However, we need to show more composure inside our opponents 22m and leave with points more frequently. Physically the team really fronted up today, with some massive carries and ferocious tackling. Bring on next week!
Head on down to Kingsway this weekend to see us take on

What a week to win it. The Men’s Round 11 bye ensuring no limelight need be shared 😂.
Kaya everyone. Unfortunately most of our teams had a Round 11 BYE, meaning we missed fully participating in NAIDOC Round this year. However, we did want to take the opportunity to pause and acknowledge this year’s NAIDOC Week, and to recognise the significant contribution made to our club by our Indigenous club members over the years. This contribution spans far more than exploits on the field. Thank you for choosing our club. Thank you for sharing your language, your art, and your culture. Thank you for helping to build an inclusive and supportive club we can all be proud of.
This year’s NAIDOC Week theme is ‘Keep the fire burning! Blak, Loud & Proud’. The theme honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture - with a fire symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
R12 this week and we move into the Competition split and next phase of Fortescue Premier Rugby. Hopefully the week off is just the tonic needed to get some sore and sorry bodies right and back on the field 🤞
