Come one come all as we welcome Curtin University Football Club for our week 6 fixture!!! ❤️⚽️

Curtin Uni has started off strongly this season and if we are to fight for the championship this season, we have to bring the win home against the these tough teams. Can the boys get all 3 points to push towards the top? Maybe, but one thing that is for sure is the boys will be giving it more than 100%!!!! 💪💪💪

Game Week 5 wrapped up after 2 weekends of no official matches. The boys continued to show sharpness from the recent friendly matches that was played over the last 2 weeks. The team is ticking along great as the matches come. 💪💪💪

The team as a whole displayed good football for the majority of the game to put the game beyond Kalamunda City. Notably, our striker Sabin Shrestha scoring his second hat-trick in just his second full game. How we've missed his goals in the 2 games he sat out due to injury. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Our goalkeeper Raman Shrestha was not to be outdone, pulling off some incredible saves throughout the match to huge applause from the crowd. 👏👏👏

Our Ressies team (YUWA) picked up another point on the road to add to the win from the last game. 3 incredible goals from Jikesh, Sudeep K and Solo almost had the 3 points in the bag but Kalamunda fought back to even the game. The next 3 points should not too far. Keep up the good work lads!!

Last Sunday, the Ressies (YUWA) team picked up 3 well deserved points against MUM. The team is definitely growing and heading in the right direction. Congratulations team on your historical moment!!!

The First team could not match the Ressies to make it a 6 point weekend. Injuries have taken a massive toll at the very start of the season but it is no excuse. The remaining players have to pick up the shortfall prove that they deserve to be there to represent the badge. They did. We are proud of everyone's efforts!!

We had 2 Sunday's where it is a cup round as well as a bye, so we will be involved in some friendly matches for the 5th of May and 12th of May.

We travel to Murdoch University Melville today. MUM look like a solid team winning both their opening 2 games which is not looking good for us as we have been hit with so many injuries it's not funny.

I guess we'll just have to follow the Gurkha motto of "It's better to die than to be a coward".

It was a tough day at the office on Sunday. Chipolopolo FC proving to be bigger, stronger, faster and hungrier than our boys as they ran out 4-1 winners in both the Ressies as well as Firsts. We knew this was gonna be a tough one as Chipolopolo came up from the Metro Premiers division. This game showed us why we are playing in the Amateurs as it showed us weaknesses we need to brush up on. ❤️⚽️

Back to the grind tonight at training as we prepare for our next game for this Sunday. 💪💪💪

First game, first points. Boys are focused on the task ahead this season. A couple of 5 star debuts for some of the new boys who have joined up this year. 6-2 against East Perth was a massive result. 💪💪💪

Our striker Sabin Shrestha with a hat-trick in the very first game of the season. Golden boot loading?? 😁😁😁

Congratulations to team YUWA on making the historical debut in the Amateur Division by getting the first game under your belt in the Ressies. Not the score line that was wanted but it will be a learning curve. We still remember some games from our own Amateur debut last season. Heads up, back to the grind on Wednesday. What matters is not how you start but how you finish. ❤️⚽️
