This was for a cake smash photo shoot! Vanilla butter cake with white chocolate base and butter cream icing....It would be perfect for a Birthday with mini cupcakes! mmm white chocolate ....... YUM!

Good evening Lovelies!! Here you go!! My entry for the Shore City Art of Cake Competition!

Theme was Haute Couture.

I wanted to create something that was visually stunning and decided on a darker base colour of midnight blue to give the over look a dramatic feel. I then brought in the silver leaf to provide a different texture and the blush pink and cream worked wonderfully of the midnight blue.

The 6th & 8th tier were a labour of love!!! It took me a day to cut all the individual circles, it was a very tedious task and my fingers were blistered by the end BUT I think it was absolutely worth the pain!! I just loved the finished look!

Launch night was a huge success and it was so lovely to meet everyone!!

Very productive morning following up enquirie. Also sketched up some gorgeous wedding cake designs.... makes me want to have another wedding just so I can have one of these cakes!
