My knitting project has outgrown my first little bag hence the need to make a new one (and yes I am the slowest knitter in the world!). Was pretty chuffed as I did a bit of repurposing in this sew using some zips and fabric taken from items that would have been thrown out otherwise. We live in such wasteful times and giving new life to something old and making something new has always been something I find quite fulfilling. Now to maybe finish my jumper before the next three years pass by…..😍😍

My family originates from the Bahamas where colourful beaches and buildings abound. I wanted to emulate this in some flowers for my Mum for Mother’s Day. Bright pinks, yellows and blues and some of her own roses which she had dried. This little print of a watercolour hangs in her bathroom and is such a reminder of home. Hopefully the flowers will be too 🥰🥰

My Mama set me the task to make her a bag out of some of my Dad’s ties which she has kept for years just waiting for the right moment. Was a bit emotional actually making that first cut of the fabric but I hope she will like it and that it will bring lovely memories flooding back each time she uses it 🥰🥰 Many thanks to for this cute little pattern
