It is with very heavy hearts that we announce our long time vocalist, Josh Kelly, has decided to leave the Kimura camp.

It's feels like we are losing a big part of the family but we are very proud of the things that we've achieved as a band with him. Also happy to say the split is an amicable one and that Josh has been nothing but helpful during the process.

We want to take this opportunity to thank him for all the blood, sweat & tears he has put into Kimura, it's been a hell of a ride, and we're sure that he will excel in whatever his next endeavour is.

After much deliberation, and not lightly, I have made the hard decision to leave Kimura and the incredibly talented musicians I've been lucky enough to write with.

Thank you to all the bands and all the fans for headbanging with us on and off the stage around the country and to everyone for your support and encouragement over the last 7 years. We really kicked some big goals and wrote some incredible music which enabled all of us to get better and for me to grow as a musician, writer, and as a producer in my studio.
A real positive to come out of this, is that I know I have made a couple of life long friends, thank you guys.

I wish Kimura all the best for the future and look forward to seeing them on stage from the crowd someday.

Last but not least...

Don't let anyone dictate or control your life, it's yours no one elses! Speak when the silence really needs to be filled, make the effort before it's too late, and don't be a weak ass puppet on a string, it's embarrassing.

Go against the grain and keep on headbanging 🤘 - Josh.
