Here is a throwback to the Town of East Fremantle May newsletter which featured our very own Maria Lo Presti & her 4 grand children. For 36 years, Maria has been the heart of our food store. Her dedication & love have shaped our business and touched our community. As we celebrate 60 years in East Fremantle & 92 years in business, we thank Maria for everything she has done for us all.

We have just received a limited supply of Danish Remoulade. This is a delicious salad or seafood dressing made with hard-boiled egg yolks, oil & vinegar which is flavoured with mustard, capers & herbs.

We will be reopening this week from Mon (30/9), with hours from 9am-2pm & 9am-1pm on Sat.

We are truly moved by the overwhelming love, support, and kind words we’ve received after the loss of our beloved Roberto. Your heartfelt condolences have brought us comfort during this challenging time. Roberto’s spirit will always be a part of the heart and soul of our store.

Happy Mothers’ Day for all our mothers, including Maria Lo Presti.

She has worked for 36 years in the family’s Lo Presti gourmet food store in Canning Highway, East Fremantle, where her favourite products are the Mediterranean Pitted olives and the provolone cheese.

She is loved by her three sons and her four grandchildren Rubi, Noah, Theo and Saba.

This year, the family celebrates 60 years of business in this location.

Our yearly family tradition of picking olives is truly special! This year, we harvested over 200kg of olives together. After the morning spent picking olives, we gathered around the table to enjoy a delicious plate of pasta prepared by our amazing 91-year-young Nonna. Now, we're eagerly looking forward to curing these olives in brine, knowing that each jar will hold a taste of our shared love and tradition.
