We are looking for a qualified barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and make coffees quickly and efficiently while still maintaining a lovely and bright customer service attitude towards our customers. Have the ability to work in a team while also work independently.
Experience in this area is preferred but not compulsory
The perfect candidate will need to be able to work during the week, weekend and public holidays.
Full-time hours available for the busier summer months ahead

Walter's River Cafe in Bicton (near Fremantle) is a day time Restaurant / Cafe / Kiosk open 7 days 8am until 4pm.
We provide fast and friendly tables service and we now have an opening for an experienced waiter/ waitress to join our fun & professional front of house team.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following;
- experience in table service
- experience in running a section
- good knowledge of food, beverages and alcohol
- coffee making skills preferred
- you are organised, bubbly and friendly
This position is available for an immediate start, you must be available weekends.
Due to our location within Point Walter Reserve you will require own transport.

We are located at a prime water front location within Point Walter Reserve in Bicton, open 7 days for Breakfast and Lunch.
We are looking for an experienced Chef and hands on leader to support the head chef in building a team that can take the Venue to the next level.
You must have:
Experience in working a high volume venue for at least 1 year,
Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
A passion for fresh, exciting food;
Kitchen management skills;
A team player with great attitude and a can-do mentality.
Take pride in a clean and professional appearance and work environment
Be available to work a flexible roster including days, evenings, weekend & public holidays

This position is casual work hours possibly leading to fulltime work and offers competitive rates of pay relevant to experience.

Main duties:
Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen on a daily operational basis
Recommend food specials and new menu items
Maintain supplier relationships
Stock count for food and crockery
Manage portion control, cooking of meals, presentation of meals and running of the pass
Monitoring and control of food wastage
Liaising with front of house in a cooperative manner
Carry out and report on Kitchen Audits
Ensuring all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with legislative requirements
Maintain and uphold best practice kitchen policy and procedures
Monitor and support kitchen staff and performance including training and mentoring
Weekly/monthly reports as required by Head Chef
Ensure a safe and compliant working environment


Summary of requirements:
Work a flexible roster including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Demonstrated relevant work experience in a similar role for more than 12 months
Must be TRADE QUALIFIED and be able to produce this paperwork
Experience in high volume venue(s)
Ability to work in all areas of the kitchen with varied cooking skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to run a section autonomously
Team player
Work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Have pride in a clean and professional appearance
Ensure compliance to all company and statutory requirements (responsible for all Kitchen practices involving the management of all agreed health, safety, quality and environmental accreditations)
