At the start of 2021, we began a journey with Husk Farm Distillery - pioneers of a new style of Australian rum - made from fresh cane juice, grown onsite at Husk Farm Distillery in Northern NSW. We were tasked with designing a packaging range for that spoke of provenance, a sense of place that connected "Husk" to the land and its elements - the salt sea air, fertile volcanic soil and pristine waters. From the Gondwana rainforests and mountains of the caldera, to the surf, sand and rocky headlands of the coast, reflecting the environment and lifestyle of the North Coast of NSW.

The Imperial stout beast that is Panther Cream released this week in 4x iterations of panthers prowling out of the darkness. 🐆 🧨

Label design for Brew Moon Rising Whiskey.
When I designed the original label (last frame) I put some effort into making an epic label that summed up the mood of the project and appealed to the large and diverse range of breweries involved.

This label is one of my all time favourites, so when let me know he had snuck some leftover into a barrel, I was pretty stoked that the artwork would get a second run… this time in my favourite metallic foil, copper!

4 years ago the sky was falling in, and while the uncertainty of the pandemic was taking hold, myself and Jimmy from decided not to dwell on the uncertainty and be proactive in injecting some much needed positive energy back into the craft beer industry that we love! We engaged as the connected energy to breweries in need, and the rest was.. as in now; history.

4 years on, the distilled beer, at first created moonshine to sell to generate income for the breweries. has been laid on oak for 4 years, is ready to present itself in all its glory this Wednesday 26th. Brew Moon Rising Whiskey!
