(For privacy we've hidden participants faces from photos & not taken photos of the home tasks such as laundry, dirty kitchen dishes & domestic tasks that we have helped with - other than cooking).

At HCAS we offer Disability & Mental Health support services & over the last few years we’ve connected some of our clients to the below 5 organisations & observed their volunteers bring a smile to the faces of so many deserving people.

We also help with freezing dinners for future weeks.
Here’s some delicious meals they’ve cooked this month, inspired from ingredients on hand & cultures around the world.

*Dijon Pork- France,
*Spicy Sausage Stew- Morocco,
*Green Curry- Thailand,

*Fish Pie – Britain
*Pizza- American style
*Bangers & Mash- mum & dad style
**** Bonus - we help with cleaning the mess & washing up dishes too. :)

We love this advocacy message from Melissa Kirkman 🙌
The South Australian entrepreneur of Kirkman by Melissa Kirkman has worked very hard to become a successful artist, and with the right supports has grown a successful business selling her designs.
People with Down syndrome want to work for the same reasons as everyone else – so that they can be independent, contribute to society, earn their own money, learn new skills, meet new people, and feel valued.
Attended Ed Sheeran concert in Sydney last night & helped fulfil a goal & bring joy & happiness to a very special NDIS participant. Ed was amazing!
