Radar speed signs at Lourdes Village promote safety first
After good discussion with Lourdes Village residents at their general meeting, residents voted to install two radar speed signs as the best solution to help reduce speeding drivers in the village.
The installation of speed bumps were considered however they were deemed not suitable due to the noise created; they would only be of benefit at the place they were located; and may also impede residents who walk, use walking aids and scooters on the village streets.
