We serve businesses of all sizes based in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has launched the first phase of its Solar Sunshot program. The program aims to foster innovation across Australia's solar supply chain and includes two funding rounds with a total of $550 million available.
ARENA has allocated $500 million to Round 1A, focusing on photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing innovation, while Round 1B has $50 million for feasibility and engineering studies.
ARENA's CEO Darren Miller emphasises that solar electricity is crucial for Australia's future energy supply and net zero ambitions. By funding these projects, ARENA hopes to achieve positive outcomes for local and First Nation communities, expand the solar PV workforce, and strengthen resilience in the solar PV supply chain.
At Blue NRG, we are committed to supporting the transition to renewable energy. Through our trusted solar solution partner, we help businesses and communities harness the benefits of clean energy. We’re excited about initiatives like the Solar Sunshot program that drive innovation and sustainability in the solar sector.
Applications are now open. Expressions of interest for Round 1A close on 10 December 2024.

Businesses can implement several strategies to reduce energy expenses. Start with these energy-efficient practices:
LED Lighting: LED light bulbs use less energy compared to other light bulbs.
Regular maintenance checks: Conduct routine checks on HVAC system, insulation, and office equipment to ensure everything is running optimally.
Hybrid working model: Allowing employees to work from home on certain days can lower electricity demand.
By integrating these practices, businesses can reduce energy costs and contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly workplace. For more tips, you can read the full article here: https://bit.ly/3A5rK1a

The Queensland Government, in partnership with the Smart Energy Council, has launched a solar panel recycling, reuse, and recovery pilot program to combat the growing issue of solar panel waste. By 2035, over 100,000 tonnes of solar panels are expected to enter Australia's waste stream, posing significant challenges for hazardous waste management.*
With $5.5 million in funding, the initiative aims to prevent e-waste from entering landfills by testing the feasibility of collecting, reusing, and recycling solar panels from homes, businesses, and solar farms. Six collection sites have already been confirmed, including Capalaba, North Lakes, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Toowoomba and Townsville.
At Blue NRG, we’re committed to supporting sustainable energy solutions for businesses. Through our partnerships with leading solar and electric vehicle providers, we help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs. We’re excited to see initiatives like this take shape to ensure a greener future for Australia’s energy sector.

Conducting a Network Tariff Analysis can be a game changer for your business. Network charges are fixed and account for 10-20% of your electricity bill* if you're a large energy user, but for small to medium-sized businesses, these charges can be even higher, significantly impacting your business energy costs. A Network Tariff Analysis can identify cost-saving opportunities by ensuring you’re on the most optimum tariff for your business. This allows you to reallocate savings to other areas of your business.
We’ll evaluate your current network tariff structure to determine if an optimised tariff is available, helping you reduce your business energy costs.
If you’re not already a Blue NRG customer, consider switching your business energy to Blue NRG. We’re offering a FREE Network Tariff Analysis for all new and existing customers who have a smart meter. A Network Tariff Analysis can only be conducted on a smart meter.
