We enter week 5 tomorrow and kick it off with a HUGE mixed body H.I.R.T session, which is not to be missed. Cardio HIIT on Tuesday where we expect maximum effort from the very first set! We will be brining in some tempo work for our two strength sessions this week to identify any areas for improvement in technique. Thursday sees the return of the you go I go format to summit so make sure you bring you training buddy. Then we finish the week off with XTX where we will mix up cardio and metabolic/complex exercises. For those doing HYROX, prepare yourself for 1.5 hours of increased intensity with reduced time to hit targets. Let’s get it BFT Richmond!

Week 4 of our 9 week Benchmark block is upon us! We will be kicking things off with a big Strength push session where we start to reduce reps and increase weight. We will see our first progression of Aerobic style of Cardio U on Thursday and don’t forget 9:30am Saturday is HYROX!! Open to all that want to try it out. 💙

After a big week of Benchmark testing and then ending our week with a challenge celebration and social, I think we can all say we enjoyed the rest day today.
Big props to everyone that hit PBs this week and to those that came out to celebrate the hard work of our challengers.

The Turkish Get Up

One of the great exercises that challenges your stabilisers in way like no other. Today we are working through the 4 phases of this movement in today’s LB strength class. Here are some pointers:

⭐️ensure your eyes are always on the kettlebell
⭐️control, control, control!!! Really important to not rush this movement and take pauses at each seperate phase. Don’t take your eyes off the bell
⭐️brace the core for maximal stabilisation throughout the entire movement. Eyes on the prize
⭐️ relax your traps and create as much space between your ears and shoulders as possible. But never take your eyes off that bell
