The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet offers an annual Christine Walsh’s Ballet Conservatoire Training Program Award and this year we had the pleasure to offer this award to Freya Wild from Alegria Dance Studios and L’Academie, NSW.

This Award will financially assist Freya for her further study in ballet.

TEN WEEKS ON THE ROAD AND IN THE AIR! 🚌 🛫 🎭 🩰 💃 💒👼🏻 🏀
It has been packed full of activities from Ballet Conservatoire exams and seminars in the Philippines and Japan to family visits in both Manila and London - Michael Ella and family, visits to the island in Camarines Sur, visiting our former student Samantha Lynch (now Principal Artist of Norwegian National Ballet) and her young family in Oslo, including seeing Prince Frederick and Queen Mary of Denmark (our Australian Queen!) at Oslo’s Opera House, to our friends’ wedding of Gigay and Gregg, family visit in London seeing Benjamin’s performance of Benno in Swan Lake and holiday with Benjamin and Ashley at Amberley Castle, a reunion with ballet colleagues from Dance Concert Company, formation of Ballet Conservatoire committee in Manila and finally assisting Daniel Ella and Tess McArdle for their Summer Jam street basketball events in the famous Tenement basketball court (Taguig) and Barangay 737 Zone 80 (San Andres, Manila)!
Phew!!! 😅 Still managed to have some rest and relaxation…🏝️🏄🏽‍♂️
