Well well well, What A weekend!

A first here for Dillan Lacey racing Willowbank Raceway | Drag Racing's Finest for the first time. Dillan has travelled here many times in the past to watch his father race and also his older brother. Unfortunately for Dillan he hasn’t been able to ride himself in racing at Willowbank, due to weather majority of the time or broken bones, Except for a test and tune he ran in after the new years thunder this has been his first competitive race. It was along haul from Rockhampton with the family to participate in the Gulf Western Oil Super Thunder event and well worth it racing at such a great track. Dillan ran his Hayabusa in the Modified bike class and came out with top qualifier, overall running a 8.57 second pass his quickest on the Saturday of racing. Super keen to head back down to Willowbank for the Winter national’s held in June to hopefully see some good numbers again on the board and have some fun racing with the Lacey racing team!! 🏁
