Super proud of Lucas for receiving his schools All rounder indigenous award and most outstanding basketball award this year.

Lucas played his first club basketball season for All Blacks this year and always had a never give up attitude, giving everything a go and improving each week.

Just a reminder that all new and existing players need to be registered to play in sorting rounds:

Sorting round dates are as follows:

Wednesday 4th October - Under 14 sorting round ( All Blacks will miss the first round due to recruitment of players)
Thursday 5th October - Under 18 Boys
Monday 9th October - Under 16 and Under 18 girls

I will be processing registrations tomorrow and will follow up with teams regarding numbers asap.

Rockhampton Basketball will be holding a 𝔻𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔 ℂ𝕝𝕦𝕓 ℂ𝕒𝕞𝕡 for kids aged 6 and up at Bravus Arena on 28th & 29th Septemeber!

The camp will be split into two sessions :

All Blacks Basketball are looking for coaches/parents that have the time commitment and want to play a part in developing the players as well as the club.

Requirements include:
Current Blue Card or willingness to obtain a Blue card
Love of the game and development of players

RBI will be holding a free Coaches Clinic for all of the new domestic coaches on Thursday 28th September from 6pm - 8pm at Bravus Arena.

Drew Fenton - RBI's Basketball Development Manager will be conducting the clinic with the focus of developing all new coaches for the upcoming 2023-2024 Summer Season.

Our U18 Boys won their elimination semi final against Ripper Pandas, leading by 8 points at the buzzer.

The U18 Boys will come up against the Ripper Sun Bears in the next elimination semi final next Thursday the 7th of September. Will keep everyone posted on the game time.

Our Div 2 women's team played on point tonight, outplaying Ripper Panda's 35-24, progressing to the next round of semi finals.

All Blacks White will come up against Toledo Diamonds next week to secure a spot in the Grand Final.

All Blacks would like to acknowledge and congratulate our OG team All Blacks Orange led by Aunty Diane Adams and Aunty Roslyn Doyle who have paved the way for growth and development of our younger generation. All Blacks Orange are a family team playing in division 3 who show up each week, sometimes with no subs for the love of the game and family.

Unfortunately they missed out on finals contention this season but will be back stronger in the upcoming summer season.

Thankyou Aunty Diane, Aunty Ros and the All Blacks Orange team for being a driving force for the All Blacks Basketball Club. We appreciate your dedication, support and love of the game.

The 2023/2024 Summer Basketball Season is fast approaching with registrations open from next Tuesday 5th of September.

All Blacks are looking for playing in the following ages groups:

All Blacks Basketball still require a coach/coaches for the U16 and U18 girls team.

Unfortunately both teams were unsuccessful in making finals but are proud of your growth as a team and your determination in overcoming challenges throughout the season.
