On Friday we’ll have a Boxing and Muay Thai Sparring class followed by a BBQ after. BYO drinks, camp chairs and blankets!

Saturday’s open mat will be followed by a BBQ Brekkie (BYO as above).

CALLING ALL ON THE PATH TO Z-GUARD GREATNESS | Scott "Scotty" Carpenter will return to the Lion's Den (Bibra Lake) in July! We have been feeling a bit of FOMO as Scotty's been teaching at Bali MMA but he will be back for a short time.

Naturally, a seminar needs to be had! A BJJ Black Belt with a particular passion for No-Gi, Scotty has many accolades as an athlete including IBJJF World and Pan Pacific Champion. In this seminar, Scott will be sharing his knowledge on guard retention and sweeping options against pressure passing using Z-guard.

Investment for this seminar is donation-based (collected on the day, cash preferred) and goes directly to Scotty. If you'd like to support Scott, please come along!

It's that time of year again! We are pleased to present our combined grading at our Bibra Lake location. The ROAR MMA Management Team have released important grading information (members, check your emails, including your spam folder). All members are welcome to attend grading, however, RSVP is required.
Please attend the reception desk to RSVP. We are finalising our list by Friday, 21 June 2024.
Please keep in mind that the BJJ journey is unique to each practitioner which can mean achieving milestones (i.e., belt promotions) occurring at different rates for different individuals. To avoid disappointment, please attend grading with an open mind and no expectations of promotion. We encourage you to see this grading as an opportunity to engage with other BJJ practitioners in our ROAR MMA pride.

The Nubian Warrior is in the house 🔥 Dalla is Australia’s number ☝🏼 pound for pound MMA athlete. He is the holder of Demolition and Hex featherweight and lightweight championships. Dalla will be running a STRIKING seminar at ROAR MMA BIBRA LAKE- this will be 90 mins of pure technical striking mastery.
