At Breathe Easy, we make a point of being inclusive. We want everyone to breathe easy, including those with allergies or special dietary requirements.

We have a separate fryer and prep space for gluten-free meals and dedicate a staff member to that dish from start to finish if that level of care is necessary. We make no guarantees but this way we know we have taken every possible precaution.

Aside from gluten-free fries or gluten-free items from the display cabinet (which we keep under wraps!) we need a days notice to accommodate gluten-free meals such as hamburgers or salad sandwiches.

This way we all win!

Brisbane's overall winner of Finding Brisbane's Best Cafe is Baladi! A bit of a hike for our regulars, but if you are on the south side, NOW you know where our sister cafe lives.

Farah and Anton achieve the same community feel we do, but in a park. On the day I finally made it down there, there was also a rally in support of Palestine so they were under the pump. It was a joy to watch the two of them work like a well-oiled machine pumping out top-notch coffee. They had beautiful music playing, interrupted briefly when Farah would quietly speak the name of the ready order over the PA.

I went there alone and left with three new friends. (another thing we have in common, lovely regulars) They said the same things our regulars say about us.

I also got a sneak peek at their next iteration... A beautiful big red double decker bus!

Amanecer Fresh bring us our living microgreens every Monday. Our plates aren't complete without a garnish of "pretties"! They also sell to the public 🏆. If you'd like to elevate your Christmas lunch with a punnet or two of herbs, they will be at Kelvin Grove markets this Saturday from 6am-1pm.
