🌬️ One easy way to take control of your day?

Take a few big deep breaths — breathing IN the positive and OUT the negative.

Here’s a quick belly breathing exercise you can try before you get out of bed in the morning:

✅ Lie on your back with your knees slightly bent and your head on a pillow.
✅ Gently place one hand on your upper chest and one hand just below your rib cage.
✅ Slowly inhale through your nose, feeling your stomach pressing into your hand.
✅ Exhale through your mouth (lips pursed) as you tighten your ab muscles
✅ Keep the hand over your chest as still as possible through both parts of the breath — focus on the rising and falling of your belly
✅ Repeat for a few long, slow breaths.

A few deep breaths can help “wake up” your mind in a healthy, positive way.

And here’s the best part: it doesn’t only work in the morning. You can put the power of your breath to work for you any time of the day.

🌱🍅RECIPE: Tomato-Basil Grilled Wild Salmon 🍅🌱

Love a quick, healthy lunch or dinner with NO dishes to clean?! 🙋‍♀️

This wild salmon recipe is packed with protein and healthy omega-3 fats, and whether you grill or bake it, it's ready in under 30 minutes!

It’s incredibly versatile, too…

If you like a lighter meal? Serve it with a garden salad.

If you want something heartier? Serve it over brown rice.

Plus, this salmon makes a perfect topper for a lunchtime salad if you have any leftovers!

Here’s the full recipe 👇

Tomato-Basil Grilled Wild Salmon
(serves 4)

● 2 cloves garlic, minced
● 1 tsp sea salt, divided
● 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
● 1 whole wild salmon fillet (about 1½ lbs or 680 g)
● ⅓ cup plus ¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil, divided (about 15g + 10g, divided)
● 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
● ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper

Preheat your grill to medium. (If using an oven, preheat to 425ºF/220ºC).

Mash the minced garlic and half the salt on a cutting board to form a paste. Place in a small bowl and stir in the olive oil.

Check the salmon for bones and remove (using tweezers) if necessary.

Lay out a large piece of foil, and coat with cooking spray.

Place the salmon skin-side down on the foil, and spread the garlic mixture evenly over the fish. Sprinkle with ⅓ cup (15 g) of basil. Arrange the tomato slices on top, and season with the remaining salt and pepper.

Place the salmon on the grill or in the oven. Grill for 10-12 minutes (or bake for about 20 minutes), until the fish easily flakes.

When done, put the salmon on a serving platter and garnish with the remaining basil.

Nutritional info per serving:
Calories: 242, 10 grams fat, 3 grams carbs, 1 gram fiber, 35 grams protein

Slow Cooker Coconut Lime Chicken

(Serves 6)



Ingredients

● 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs/900 grams)

● 14 oz (400 ml) can light coconut milk

● Juice and zest of 2 limes

● 2 garlic cloves, minced

● 1 Tbsp coconut aminos or tamari

● 1 Tbsp honey

● ½ tsp ground ginger

● ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

● Salt and pepper, to taste

● Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

● Lime slices (for garnish)



Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper.



In a bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, lime juice and zest, minced garlic, aminos or tamari, honey, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).



Pour the coconut lime mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.



Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for about 3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.



Once the chicken is tender, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the meat to the pot to soak up more sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed.



Garnish with chopped cilantro and lime slices. Serve with rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.

✔️ Step 1: Write down some values that matter to you. Ideas: health, family, happiness, security, freedom, money, or fun.

✔️ Step 2: Choose 2-3 of the top values on your list (they’re the ones that get you the most fired up!).

✔️ Step 3: Using your own words, using specific examples, write down what your top values mean to you in your everyday life.

For example, if you chose “health” as a top core value, you might write about how being healthy means you have the energy to pursue the business you want to create, or being more present with your kids. Make it real.

✔️ Step 4: Read your values list every morning! Post them where you can see them, when you’re faced with a decision, make the choice that aligns with your values.

I’m not sure how to highlight the importance of this event without sharing some horrific statistics.

💥 In NSW, police attend 500 domestic abuse calls every single day.
That equates to 180,000 domestic abuse jobs per annum in NSW alone.
💥 In cases of female homicide, 97% of the victims were murdered by their current of former intimate partner.
💥 1 in every 3 females is sexually assaulted before the age 15, and the same statistic will be relevant for females after the age of 15.
💥 1 in 3 …. Now consider this 😢
Only 12% of child sexual abuse is reported to the authorities.
💥 In 2024, a female has been murdered every four days, we are reaching a crisis point.
