THAT’S A WRAP…
Last night was my final workshop of the year (a fabulous night with these gorgeous ladies sipping gin and making candles 🍸🕯).

I’m now taking a little break, and the studio will be closed until the new year.

Vintage candles are always unique, and perfect for that special “something different” gift. My natural soy wax blend is easily washed out after the candle has burned down, ready for refill or reuse.

These two styles are my current favourites - the first is adorned with a rice paper flower that acts as the wick. The second with stylish black diffuser reeds.

I’ve sourced all local and 100% natural ingredients from WA’s south west. Hydrosols of FRAGONIA and HONEY MYRTLE are the heroes, produced from the gentle steam distillation of essential oils of sustainably farmed and harvested native flora.

I must admit, I’ve been a bit nervous of anything BANKSIA after childhood reading of May Gibbs (and her big, bad banksia men).

So dear reader, this is quite a big deal for me that fifty-ish years post Snugglepot and Cuddlepie I’m now quite in LOVE with BANKSIA.

These little guys are now part of my studio stock - amazing, completely natural and very beautiful banksia (nothing bad here!), hand carved in Queensland.

The seed pods are very porous, making them ideal diffusers. You simply add a few drops of your favourite essential oil blend, pop in the little cork, breathe in and enjoy.

I hope you love them too. Available through our website and Subiaco studio. And please let me know if you too grew up with a strange fear BANKSIA MEN 😂 😂 😂
