I just wrote a piece on surrendering. When we hibernate we don’t just lie in bed. We work on ourselves, figure who we are, we do things to help us grow and change and we find out what motivates us, what our hobbies are, what we find joyous and where our passions lie. My very talented friend has started teaching and Im not writing this as an advertisement- I’m writing this because I think it will help so many of you, me included. Surrendering To The Universe…

Have you ever had lots of things go wrong? One after the other? What seems like a string of bad luck? That is Gods way of letting you know that it’s time to surrender and time to hibernate. I have been hibernating in my caterpillar phase since early December. Healing, growing, changing. Sometimes we just need to surrender to our life circumstances, to our challenges and to just go with the flow. Sometimes Fighting our circumstances only lowers our vibration and causes more illness and pain. Hibernating, though difficult and somewhat painful will help us more than fighting ever will. In hibernating we feel our emotions, we see what’s stuck, we see what needs to be done or undone. In hibernating we allow ourselves to release the pain so that we can see how to move forward when the time is right. Hibernating will eventually raise our vibration because we will step out of our cocoon into a Butterfly. The longer we fight the surrendering process the longer it will take to turn into that butterfly.
When does the surrendering process end? It can be hard to know when we have made it into a butterfly. There can be many stages of both the cocoon and the butterfly interchanging over the months. But in order to know where you are at you have to step out of your cocoon-test it and see what happens. How do you feel? Alive, confident, positive, happy? Like you can take on the world? Or is there still a feeling of depression, fear, falseness, not knowing your path forward and what seems like bad luck? If it’s the latter then surrender once more. Keep working on yourself until your butterfly is ready, until you are ready to level up and take on this world 🩷🩵🙏

Picture your favourite place…now remember the feeling that you get when you are there! There is going to be many moments with that feeling. There’s been some changes in my life this year. Big ones. Huge actually. I thought it could hold it all together. I thought I had it in the bag. I did not, in fact, have it in the bag.
This year is a big one for showing our true feelings, the true you coming out into the world, no more pretending and just being authentic. Realising what you want and don’t want and releasing things that hurt you or no longer serve you. This year we have been shown through various means what we actually deserve and what belongs in our lives. There has been so many break ups, realisations, changes and so many people and situations have shown their true colours. Hurt exists on both sides and a range of feelings all in between- this has caused a huge influx of mental health issues for so many people. Waking up and realising what you deserve isn’t easy because with that comes changes and change is HARD. People don’t like it when others change-the thought of stepping out of the box that they created for you is scary. This new version of you is different and different is scary. Maybe it was you that realised, or maybe it was a partner or your family. Maybe it was life and God that made the choice for you. It’s been a hard year for so many people.
For me, it’s been my hardest and best year yet. For me it’s about acceptance and finding joy where I can. I am so lucky to be surrounded by some overwhelming phenomenal and supportive people and I would not be where I am without them. My heart is broken and I am grieving but I’m healing, I am growing and I am doing my best to put my positive foot forward. I love this work but it can be really difficult to shine a light and be a beacon of hope when you are finding it difficult to shine that light for yourself. I wish I could do it all, I wish I was Superwoman, but this week has shown me that I am not superwoman and I’m pretty sure not even superwoman has it in the bag either 😂!! I wish you all so much love and pray that you are coping with the changes, that you are doing ok and that you can see the light. You are doing amazing-remember that 💖🥰😘💪
