That’s ridiculous! 😱

If you ever wondering if fitness is worth it ?

This is a shoutout to my Dad! And hopefully motivation to the people who are on the journey he took for us.

This is been a Christmas time tradition for my brother Will, Dad Tom and myself for many many years now and I can happily say that this training session we have each year is by far my favourite.

I’m 27, and have been training in the gym since I was 12 completely motivated to be like my dad, who at the time was 147kg and using weights to get his health back on track.

We weren’t a family gifted with fitness and it certainly wasn’t smooth sailing in life for the “not the right timers” but he stuck it out for years. Fuelled by healthy competition and for what I’m guessing setting a good example for his kids.

Years on it’s had such a massive effect not just on our health but myself and Will have built the best relationship I could hope for with dad. And I can’t wait to continue this journey with my daughter in a few years when she’s old enough to join in.

So for anyone either in that journey or saying they’re wanting to start, I can guarantee it’ll be the best decision you’ll ever make not just for yourself but also for your family.
