Due to popular demand, I am currently doing a pop-up at Albert Lane, Brisbane again for 3 weeks from March 6 until March 24. 🥰🥳

Over the past week, we had a special guest performed at OMU and Harajuku Gyoza over Sydney and Brisbane. I am glad it was a wonderful event and to see many happy faces see my master performed his omurice demonstration during his time there. Arigatou~ ❤️
OMU will be operating while I am away.

I will continue my best to serve the omurice to all of you during the pop-up.

I was thinking so hard what sort of menu for collaboration to make customers satisfied…
I wanted to make something special and do something only I can do…

And I came up with this idea to do Omurice cook off!
So you can taste his and my Omurice to compare!!!
Also I will make Ox Tongue stew which is his No.1 popular side dish in Kyoto even famous from Buzz-feed YouTube video, I learned from him directly while I was staying in his restaurant. It takes days to cook, but I want to challenge this recipe.

Miki’s Exciting Journey to KYOTO!!!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be at my master chef Motokichi’s famous restaurant Kichi Kichi from mid next week!!!!

Still can’t believe that I finally will be a part of his team and get to learn from him directly, but I will do my best!!

I will be in Kichi Kichi from 30th November until 19th December!
And come back to OMU on 22nd Dec onwards.

While I'm away, OMU will be in good hands with my fantastic team, so please continue to support them.
And I’m coming back with extra tasty Omurice skills!!

We're immensely grateful for your incredible support! 😊 Despite the strong gale winds 🌬, I'm overjoyed to have had those of you who came to savor our omurice🥚🍚. Holding a pop-up in NZ 🇳🇿 was a thrilling and challenging experience.❤️

A special shoutout to the amazing , who graced our event with a fantastic performance 🥳. Their visit to our booth and the friendly chat we had brought a bright spark to our day. 🤩 We can't wait to see them again next time! 😊

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to for this opportunity. I already miss all the warm-hearted staff and customers who assisted us last Saturday.🥰

I would like to thank every customer and followers who supported us from the beginning, and all the current / previous staffs who helped me a lot both in a good times and in difficult times. I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to overcome without each of these people! ❤️

Now to celebrate our 1st anniversary, we have a lot of new things to inform!

1. We will be opening “OMU CAFE”, coffee / Japanese cafe drinks and brunch menu🍴
2. GIVE AWAY 180 keep cups for a week with free first coffee fill.
3. We are open for 7 days a week now!! (No longer close on Monday)
4. New opening hours will be 9am-3pm for brunch and Omurice / 5pm-9pm for dinner

2. Forever $2 coffee refill anytime when you bring OMU cup.

I am currently doing a pop-up for the Cherry Blossom Festival 🥰🎉. I will be serving the popular omurice🍚🥚, karaage 🍗 and cream sodas🍹at the for 8 days from August 20 until August 28. That's less than a week to go.

I will be serving a “Cherry Blossom Cream Soda” 🌸 for a limited time only, be sure to check it out.

The restaurant will still be open throughout the festival. Over the past few months, a lot of you came and tried the omurice. I appreciate those who are coming and I will continue to strive to make people happy with omurice. 🥰
